Osteopathic Manual Medicine
Massage Therapy

Osteopathic manual medicine (aka. OMM or OMT) employs hands-on techniques to diagnose, treat, and prevent musculoskeletal problems and other health issues like headaches, muscle or joint pains. It aims to improve circulation, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being by restoring the body's natural balance and function. OMM offers a non-invasive approach tailored to each patient, integrating with traditional medical care to address both symptoms and underlying causes, promoting holistic health and wellness.

In an effort to promote transparency for medical procedures and visits, Dr. Forbush lists current prices.

Her practice is Fee for Service, meaning payment is expected at the time of service for all service types. Credit Card and Debit Card payments are currently accepted methods.  Note: if you currently use an HSA or FSA that functions like a debit card those also are acceptable forms of payment.

In an effort to provide exceptional care without interference from third parties carriers, she currently accepts NO insurance plans but will provide a superbill upon request and/or a receipt that a can be submitted to Commercial Insurance plans for reimbursement, this does always apply to Medicare or Medicaid per state & federal laws. What is an Osteopathic Physician?

One of the two types of fully licensed physicians (MDs & DOs) to perform the full scope of medicine & surgery and the prescribing of pharmaceuticals in the United States.  MDs and DOs train beside each other in Residency and can take the same Specialty Board Certifications Exams.

Often patients may not even know which type of physician (MD/DO) treated them on a given day unless your physician performed manual medicine.

What is Osteopathic Medicine?

As an Osteopathic Physician, I use the full complement of Western medicine, and additional training focused solely on Osteopathic Manual Medicine techniques.  I look at it as the best of both worlds allowing me to meet the patient and their body exactly where they need to be met. Ideally, partnering and blending philosophies of care to help the patient meet their healthcare goals.

Fascial Distortion Model is an efficient and fast way to treat many acute and chronic conditions.  Learning it was a game-changer because of how all other techniques seem to work within this model.
